16.10.2019 – Nerd Nite talk: The Beauty of Victorian Coal-Hole Covers

Amir Dotan

I’ve lived in Stoke Newington in the London Borough of Hackney since 2002 and became interested in its history in 2011. I research the area’s rich colourful past as a hobby, collecting and sharing material from archives, online resources, books and personal collections.

I enjoy giving talks on various topics relating to Stoke Newington’s past and organise ‘Stoke Newington History Talks‘; a quarterly event featuring myself and two guest speakers.
